Forest honey is different because it is not made from flower nectar. Bees collect a sweetener on the trunk and leaves of trees in the forests of northern Italy for this purpose. The result is a honeydew with a powerful, aromatic flavor. Delicious in tea, mixed with cottage cheese or on a sandwich!
