Kombucha is made from fresh tea, cane sugar and a live ferment. This living ferment is a mix of different bacteria and yeasts that "eat" the sugar. The fermentation process creates acids, yeasts and enzymes, among other things.
The base of this Kombucha is green tea. Due to the special process of fermentation, kombucha contains less than 0.2 grams of residual sugar per 100 ml. Because this drink is fermented on rice syrup, no effervescence occurs. The kombucha is not pasteurized.
Use
Build up drinking Kombucha slowly to see how your body responds to it.
Store cool, dry and sealed. Can also be kept after opening until indicated THT if properly sealed.
