Amla powder organic(Emblica officinalis) is a deciduous tree with edible fruit of the same name (Amla) and also known as the Indian gooseberry. Many parts of this tree are used within Ayurvedic teachings. The Amla berry is a smooth, slightly greenish-yellow fruit with vertical grooves. The berry has a sour taste and fibrous flesh. The tree on which these berries grow is native to central and southern India, Pakistan and southern China. In autumn the fruits are picked by hand and used in various dishes (including Pickles and Chutney).
Usage and storage
Mix 1-2x daily 1 rounded scoop of Absolute Amla Powder with water, fruit juice or yogurt. Also create your own Supersmoothie or Supershake. Store cool, dry and sealed. Keep out of reach of children.
