Heather honey is called the queen of honeys thanks to its beautiful jelly-like texture and spicy, powerful taste. For this honey, the bees collect nectar from Calluna moors in southeastern Norway. Due to the short summers, bees in Norway have to collect more honey in less time. Fortunately in Norway the days are much longer in the summer.
The Norwegian Heather Honey is a real "candy honey", delicious to eat from a spoon. It combines well with a block of cheese, yogurt or on bread.
If the honey crystallises, simply place the jar in warm water.
