Usage and Dosage
Use 0.3% to 2% xanthan gum, depending on the desired thickness. Mix directly with vinegar or a water solution of a cleaning powder such as percarbonate or citric acid.
Recipe: Multi-purpose Vinegar Gel (descaler, degreaser, cleaner)

Mix 400 ml vinegar with 4 to 8 g xanthan gum (4 g for liquid, 8 g for gel structure).

Use a whisk or mixer for best results.

Pour into a pump bottle (min. 500 ml).
Recipe: Percarbonate Gel (bleach, cleaner, degreaser)

Mix 400 ml water with 40 g percarbonate in a bowl.

Slowly add 8 g xanthan gum, even if the powder is not fully dissolved.

Pour into a pump bottle.

Works also with other powders like citric acid (descaling, rust removal) or soda (degreasing, burnt-on pans).
Recipe: Cleaning, Degreasing Gel

Mix 400 ml water with 4 tbsp concentrated soda and 1 tbsp black soap.

Stir well until the soda is dissolved.

Add 8 g xanthan gum and mix until smooth gel forms.

Use as a liquid dish soap or a powerful degreaser.
