Twist-Off Lid:
We recommend that you heat the metal Twist-off lids before closing, especially when filling with cold items. This heating ensures that the closure, on the inside of the lid, becomes softer and closes better. Please note that the lid may be heated to a maximum of 60°C. To guarantee a good seal, both the mouth of the glass and the inside of the lid must be completely clean, dry and free of grease.
Tightening the Twist-Off Lid:
Very important is the tightening of the lid. A lid should be hand-tightened. Over-tightening may eventually make the lid difficult to open. It is also possible that the lid is tightened so tight that it will continue to rotate.
