Twist-Off Lid:
We recommend that you heat the metal Twist-off lids before closing, especially when filling with cold items. This heating ensures that the closure on the inside of the lid softens and seals better. Please note that the lid may be heated to a maximum of 60°C. To ensure a good seal, both the mouth of the glass and the inside of the lid must be completely clean, dry and free of grease.
Tightening the Twist-Off Lid:
Tightening the lid is very important. A lid must be tightened hand-tight. Tightening too hard can ultimately make the lid difficult to open. It is also possible that the lid is tightened so tightly that it will continue to rotate.
